There is a trilogy that precedes this, so this really should be marketed as a book 4, not a book 1. The “Blood of Kerensky” books are set in the Battletech universe which, for those of you who don’t know, is a post-diaspora-to-the-stars, future war concept with different political factions duking it out in giant robots called “Mechs”. Many years ago I read several books about the Battletech universe.

The title should kerenskj at least 4 characters long. I mean, the story is deep and engaging, but it’s not dark by any means. Most of that is really still true – the Battletech Universe is vast and sprawling, yet feels very human. This really is the must read trilogy for anyone into the Battletech universe. I’m glad I read this again, but I won’t re-read the next book in the series.
